Conference Day 1

I love when I get to the end of a day that I’ve spent at a conference or something, and I realize, “Whoa! I was too busy today to even read my favourite (three or four) daily blogs!”

It’s like a treat. Partly because then I get to read the blog posts, and partly because I realize just how chock-full the day was with productive stuff like meeting new people and listening to ideas.

I’ve got to get to making some supper and then sleep, to do more of it tomorrow, so I won’t stop now to write about the conference itself. I’ll do that in the next couple of days. Suffice it to say, it’s going very well so far.

Oh and if you’re a Twitter person, you can follow conference stuff with the hashtag “creative economy”: #/search?q=%23creativeeconomy&src=hash.

  1. Eric Lortie says:

Now that it’s over I really regret not having gone to this conference. It seems like it was a solidly put together event and I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. I look forward to reading your follow-up posts.
